Mylocalcommunity.org.uk is the  home for Community Action, Volunteering Bradford and CNetIt is a website and portal where you can find out about our services, find job vacancies and discover opportunities to volunteer. We hope that our new website will make it easy to find the help and support you’re looking for.

Bradford Volunteer Centre, Community Action Bradford & District and CNet are independent registered charities working in partnership to support voluntary and community groups, and empower communities across Bradford District. Together we are Bradford District Infrastructure Partnership.

Ilkley & District Volunteer Awards

Community Action in association with Ilkley Town Council are delighted to announce a Volunteer Awards event to recognise and celebrate the work of individuals and groups making a real difference to the lives of people in the Ilkley District.

Do you know someone who deserves recognition?  Are you aware of individuals who give time and effort for the benefit of others or who have helped to improve the amenities and resources in your community?

Deadline for all nominations is Wednesday 3rd October. Presentation of certificates will take place to nominated volunteers on Monday 22nd October 2018

There are 3 categories:

  • Community Involvement:  aged 25 years and over
  • Community Involvement:  aged 24 years and under
  • Community Involvement:  encouraging sporting activity

You can put forward a nomination for one or more categories or indeed nominate in all categories.  Each nomination must be on a separate form which you can download by clicking here.  All nominations will be recognised and receive a certificate at the award ceremony.

Nominations can be received from any member of the community or voluntary organisations. However, the nominees themselves must be unpaid members of the community/organisation. You can find more information here
