Funding information and advice

We advertise funding opportunities including loans, social investment and grants as part of a free funding information service for voluntary and community organisations in Bradford district called bfunded. We run this service in partnership with Bradford Council and Airedale Enterprises.

Lloyd’s Bank Foundation have recently released findings of a piece of research that show the value of small charities in terms of funding, social value and sustaining community relationships. Getting tender ready is a course aimed at voluntary and community organisations looking to increase their chances of securing grant funding or contracts from the statutory sector, particularly City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

Learning outcomes

It will cover tender preparation and planning and will look at key questions including:

How do we know if our organisation meets the requirements to tender?

How do we go about researching need and demand?

How do we clarify outcomes?

How do we demonstrate our ability to deliver?

Do we need to consider working in partnership?

Suitable for: voluntary and community sector organisations who wish to tender for services.
